Catnip thief on the loose in Poughkeepsie

My colleague Poughkeepsie Journal photographer Kathy McLaughlin has a pot of catnip in her yard. She said she kept wondering why the leaves were getting smaller and not growing.

With her inside cat Rigz watching intently from the window, Kathy took this picture of the intruder and thief.


Then, of course, catnip being what it is, the thief was too catnipped to escape.
