Pug steps on it

There are easier ways to cancel a scheduled surgery.

Apparently, an Indiana pug couldn't think of anything else when it jumped onto the gas pedal of its owner's truck, sending it crashing into the — thankfully — empty waiting room of a veterinary clinic in Plymouth, Ind.

Here's the story from WSBT-TV in South Bend, Ind.

The dog, who was not named in the story (the owner was, and her last name is ... wait for it ... Mutti), was going to have knee surgery, which was postponed because of the accident.

No one was injured in the accident.

Scream therapy?

Maybe this pug is excited about the possibility of a dog park coming to the Town of Wappinger.

Or maybe it is just a very strange pooch.
