Since I had to work the late shift — and it's snowing like crazy, I mean crazy — my editor suggested that I bring Kate in so I wouldn't have to go home to take care of her at dinner time.Kate, needless to say, is pulling her weight, making sure all the other newsroom people have a warm dog to pet.

I'm very jealous. No one suggested that I be brought to work today. So instead I'm stuck inside AGAIN. All alone. Well, the cat is here, but I might as well be alone for all the company she is. I mean, she doesn't even want to play tote the formerly stuffed animal around the house and find new and annoying places to put it. What kind of self-respecting pet DOESN'T want to play that game?!
Anyway, outside looks so nice and inviting with all that snow. Write back and let me know what it's like since who KNOWS when my owner will come home and let me out!
